About
Pat Moauro, an award-winning reporter, writer, editor and publisher, is Editor and Partner at MaxxSeniorsLife.com.
For more than four decades, he has been writing, editing and publishing in a variety of print media, including daily, weekly and monthly newspapers and other publications.
He’s also a former publisher of his own community newspaper, The South London Reporter, in London, Ontario Canada. He has now added the Internet to the list of communication vehicles in which he has been involved.
During his long journalistic career, Pat has interviewed a wide variety of officials and spokespersons in the government and private sectors about seniors and their care. He has also interviewed seniors and written about them and their activities. He continues to research and write extensively on seniors and related topics.
As a senior himself, he is deeply interested in the care of seniors and committed to the protection of seniors’ rights. As a Board member of the Alzheimer Society of London and Middlesex, he has a keen interest in Alzheimer’s disease, its treatment and the care of those with this condition.
With his latest involvement in MaxxSeniorsLife.com, Pat is bringing his many years of journalistic experience to the Internet. He continues to research the growing field of seniors and the many support services and related areas affecting this increasingly growing segment of the population.
Baby boomers, who were born between 1946 and 1964, continue to form an increasingly large part of the senior and pre-senior population in North America. Reportedly, every 8.4 seconds another baby boomer reaches age 50.
